First Post To My Creatives

 Hello my friends!  

If you have arrived here, you were probably, most certainly, invited by me, your friend, in all things artistic and creative. Oh how I love that I have you and I hope that you will be joining me as I get off my duff and create lots and lots of art or artistic leaning things, or ugly experiments in the pursuit of art making.  You get the picture.

I am full of ideas, but I hardly ever seem to really knock them out.  Neither do my friends.  So this year, starting nowish, we will be getting things done, discovering things, using those things (or tossing them cuz... bleck!) and having some fun while we are at it all while not burning my house down. Yes, I had to promise Mr. Creative.

If you have ideas about what you want to try, things you do that you want me to try, want to remind me of stuff I said I want to try (you get the picture), drop me a comment.  Actually drop me a comment so I know who showed up.  You will be invited to various try sessions (those I lured into being creative triers).

 I also want to add that if you are reading this and live in St. George and do fiber art of any kind and want to get together with the group I am a member of, drop a comment.  The group is called Southern Utah Fiber Art (SUFA).  We meet once a month at  Fab Fabrics. Things I have in mind:

•  Experimenting with Lutradur and Tyvek
• Experimenting with my new soldering iron and my old heat gun
• Pranking around with the painted tissue paper I showed today
• Discovering the wonders of Yupo Paper when it arrives. 
• Playing with my new watercolors and new water coloring books
