The Creatives of Southern Utah

 I thought a little art amuse cerveau was in order.  Something between parts one and two of the festival.  Also, Cathie needs to mail me a few photos for part two (ahem) so... brain amusement. I have been doing a lot of water coloring. Pretty much to the exclusion of every other artistic pursuit.  Mostly landscapes because I am not good at them. Im not gonna lie... I was not zen upon completion of these little zen palette cleansers. I enjoyed the alcohol ink part but the little marking - the zentangle part I didn't enjoy. It made me tense. As much as art can make me tense.  Knitting makes me tense. Playing Operation makes me tense. Hiking along a cliff's edge makes me tense! But I liked what resulted.  I got the idea off Pinterest.  I also made two bookmarks.  One for my friend Michelle.  She is not an artist.  She is a reader and a lover of dogs.  Her birthday is approaching.  She needs a book to go with it if anyone knows any...
